THE COLOUR OF A DIAMOND
Diamonds can be found in almost every colour of the rainbow, but the white coloured diamond still remains the most popular.
All diamonds are graded on a colour scale established by the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) which ranges from colourless D to Z.
The subtle differences in colour especially between say E and an F are very difficult to see. Therefore, colours are graded under controlled lighting conditions and are compared to a master set for accuracy.
