THE CLARITY OF A DIAMOND
As light enters a diamond, it is reflected and the retracted out. If anything such as an inclusion disrupts the flow of light entering the diamond, a proportion of light will be lost resulting in some brilliance being diminished.
The number of inclusions found in the diamond can determine the degree of brilliance lost.
